Reps glossary: QC, batch, W2C, GP and more (for beginners)
The reps world has its own slang. This glossary gets you up to speed in 2 minutes.
Basic terms
- W2C ("where to cop"): where to buy. Also the name of a product's link/listing.
- Rep (replica): a product inspired by a brand design.
- Agent: middleman that buys in China and forwards. See the agents guide.
- Seller: a vendor on Taobao/Weidian/1688.
- Batch: a product version from a specific factory. See how to choose a batch.
Quality and buying
- QC (Quality Control): real photos of your product before shipping. See the QC guide.
- GP (Green Post / free shipping): free shipping from the seller to the agent's warehouse.
- Haul: a set of products bought in one go.
- Cop: to buy/grab a product.
